Rose Tincture

Rose Tincture

open the heart - quiet the mind - soothe the soul

Rose petals are known to be high in vitamin C, and also contain vitamins A, B-3, D, and E, as well as bioflavonoids, minerals, plus malic and citric acid. These nutrients are the reason why many herbalists use rose medicine to clear toxins and heat from the body, and relieve fluid retention or congestion. Roses provide healthy antioxidant and anti-inflammatory flavonoids and cancer-fighting compounds.

Physically Rose creates “movement” in the body, so it can be used to help relieve heavy menstrual periods caused by uterine congestion and menstrual pain. It is also used for irregular periods and infertility. Rose tincture is also known to support the liver and gall bladder because it promotes bile flow, which contributes to better elimination. Rose tincture stimulates the immune system, helps fight infections, soothes mucous membranes, and can help to relieve colds and flus. It has a mild diuretic effect as well as a natural gentle laxative.

Emotionally Rose has been used throughout the ages to comfort sorrow and relieve heartache. We all experience grief and sadness at times, but sometimes our pain becomes too heavy a burden to carry. Rose tincture can be a wonderful way to soothe our aching hearts or lift us from deep grief.

Rose elixir is exceptionally uplifting and can be used to relieve trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, heartbreak and chronic stress and fatigue.
